The Hillside Sanctuary:

Tucked deep within the quiet woods of DarkSyde, far removed from the neon glow and noise of the midway, lies the Hillside Sanctuary—an enchanted, witchy haven built for those who seek a truly sacred, unconventional union.

Your journey begins as a private tractor-drawn wagon carries you and your inner circle down a candle-lit trail through the trees. Unwind along the trail with a curated spread of a haunted nature: rich charcuterie, hot cocoa and coffee, and custom gothic cupcakes.

At the crest of the hill, your intimate ceremony unfolds under the canopy of the forest, accompanied by a haunting soundtrack tailored to your love story. Guided by an ordained officiant in a private, atmospheric setting, you'll seal your vows away from the crowds. Afterward, capture every shadow and smile with dedicated professional photography before returning to the grounds with VIP Fast Passes, food truck vouchers, and custom store merchandise to celebrate late into the night.

The Midway Handfasting Ritual ($60)

Want to make it official? This ritual can be performed as a fully legal wedding ceremony at no extra charge—just present a valid Michigan marriage license to the officiant prior to the start of your ritual.

For a quick, high-voltage spark of adrenaline, the $20 Quick Commitment or Vow Renewal is the ultimate walk-up experience. Perfect for long-time partners re-upping their vows amidst the neon and night, or fresh couples making a reckless, unhinged pact on a whim. Fast, fun, and completely stress-free—just step up, proclaim your devotion in front of the crowd, collect your comemerative picture and keep the night rolling.

The Elopement Ritual ($666)

Designed for couples who want an intimate, unholy union away from the midway chaos, The Elopement Ritual ($666) is a private, deeply atmospheric experience hidden in the shadows of the woods.

Your journey begins with a private, candle-lit tractor ride down the ridge trail for you and up to 4 guests. Along the way, indulge in a curated spread of a haunted nature—complete with rich charcuterie, hot cocoa or coffee, and custom gothic cupcakes. Upon reaching the secluded Hillside Sanctuary, your ceremony unfolds beneath the forest canopy, guided by an ordained officiant and set to a haunting custom soundtrack.

For those who wish to seal their bond surrounded by their true inner circle, Marriage Macabre ($1,313) is the ultimate high-energy, haunted micro-wedding experience hidden deep within the DarkSyde Acres woods.

You and up to 15 of your chosen guests are shuttled down a candle-lit trail via a private tractor ride, arriving at the secluded Hillside Sanctuary. Before and after your custom ritual under the forest canopy, your group will feast on an expanded spread of haunted charcuterie, warm beverages, and custom gothic cupcakes. Guided by an ordained officiant, your ceremony is captured by a dedicated professional photographer to ensure every shadow and detail is preserved. Afterward, send your entire party straight to the front of the haunt lines with full VIP access and food truck vouchers for everyone in your group.

Whether you step into the shadows for an intimate sanctuary for two or bring your entire circle along for a Mariage Macabre, our reserved Hillside experiences are crafted for those who demand a union as dark, sacred, and unforgettable as their love. Because space in the woods is strictly limited each night, all Hillside Sanctuary packages must be booked in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. Deposit & Cancellation Terms: A $200 refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your Hillside Sanctuary date and time. This deposit is fully refundable if cancellation is requested at least 10 days prior to your scheduled ceremony date and time. Cancellations made within 10 days of the reserved date will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
